Adium crashes when installing xtras from web

Hi!

I never seen this issue before so I thought I'd let you know about it. I try to install xtras for Adium using the website and clicking the "install" link using Chrome. Adium just crashes dead turkey on me when doing this however. If I download the xtra and doubleclick the downloaded file it installs just fine, it's the "direct from web" that is a problem. I think I have the same version of Adium on my macbook and there is no problem there, I may have a newer version of Chrome on this one though. No other issues with Adium just this one thing. Weird.

EDIT:

After some testing I found the reason. It's something about the latest OSX version 10.7.2 that causes this. On 10.7.1 everything is fine. I happened to have a vmware osx still at 10.7.1 where it works while it won't work on any computer that is updated to .2 - hope you can fix it! Annoying when OSX reisions causes bugs here and there!

I've been having the same problem. I have tried installing the beta and it is behaving the same way.

I did have a popup on crash asking me to send in the report, I did this but assumed this ended up at apples server?

This will be fixed in the next releases. Looks like OS X 10.7.2 introduced the crash.

for those having this problem, you can install stuff manually pretty easily by unzipping the xtra and moving the enclosed file to the appropriate folder in
