I've had this problem for a long while: when I go into Adium > Preferences > Color Theme and try to change the highlight color, it doesn't change it. All it does is keep the same color I set a long time ago.
Any idea how to fix this? I've tried a new set of preferences, but that didn't fix it I'm afraid.

It's been a bit of a while. Don't want to sound pushy, but does anyone have a solution?
With the 1.5 update, I don't really have much need for the growl-like notifications, so I went into Preferences > Events and turned off all notifications by choosing "do nothing" for most events. Unfortunately, the pop-ups are still there.
I feel like it has something to do with the fact that my preferences must be messed up, since I can't change the highlight color of contacts, like I've mentioned above.
