Hi,

first of all. Adium is a great instant message client. I have some questions/problems though:

1. I cannot send or receive any files. When I try to send something, the other person won't see the invitation, and after some time Adium tells me the invitation has been denied, even though the other person didn't cancel it. Also, when someone tries to send me a file, I don't see the invitation.

2. Is there a way to see the avatar/icon/image the other person is using in the chat window itself? Sort of like in MSN. I can only see the image if I hover over the contact in my contact list.

3. I cannot add custom emoticons. When I add emoticon packages they won't work. I read somewhere this is not supported yet, but why is there the option then? Is there a way to make it work anyway? [SOLVED!]

4. I can chose a buddy icon, but the people I'm chatting with can't see them.

5. When I receive a voice-clip, I can receive it, but when I click it, there is no sound.

I know some of these have been mentioned in other topics, but I haven't found an answer or a solution yet.

Currently using:

Adium 1.4.4.
Mac OS X Lion.

Same problems here. I'm using Lion and Adium 1.4.4 too. Since Adium 1.4.3 I can't receive or send custom emoticons (though the "Display custom emoticons" option is marked) and it's really hard to receive or send some file sucessfully.

Somehow, the third problem got fixed. I can now use custom emoticons, they are not gray and unclickable anymore.
