Adium 1.5rc2

I installed this version in the moring, and haven't been able to launch adium ever since. What happened? Can anyone help me?

No, it doesn't seem to be crashing. It really seems not to be launching at all. I have adium in my dock. I klick on the icon, and I get the message about when the latest update was downloaded (this I have been getting with EVERY launch of adium since the few updates). And then NOTHING happens. It doesn't launch and it doesn't crash, since it isn't int the list of programs I could force quite either. The same thing happens when I try to launch it from the programs-folder, or with quicksilver.

I would suggest reverting to http://download.adium.im/Adium_1.5rc1.dmg for now. We're investigating the rc2 issue.

Thanks, I will try that right now. I still haven't updated to Lion. Could that be part of the problem?

Downgrading did the trick. Adium launches again! Thanks a lot!!!

That seems very unlikely. This has also been reported for Lion. I'm also on 10.6.

Are there any crash logs? (http://trac.adium.im/wiki/ObtainingACrashReportManually has instructions)? Are there any correlating entries in Console.app?

Hi,
Version1.5rc2 on Mac Pro quad Core is working quite well
Only pb i found is i cannot send (to ichat friends) any file, even i get theirs without pb.
When I try to send something, the other person don't see the invitation, and Adium tells me the invitation has been denied, even though the other person didn't cancel it.
