Service Icons in Group Chat Window

Greetings Adium Users,

I've spent about an hour trying to hunt down a solution to this little issue of mine...

I recently updated to Adium 1.5 (Specifically, Version 1.5 (3/14/12) from the about window). I am running Mac OS X Lion.

I like to be able to remove the clutter from windows as best I can, minimizing the information to whats important only. With the recent update, I now see very large service icons in the contact list for my group chat windows. Consequently I see this as a little redundant in a group chat window, since group chat windows are mostly going to be from the same service, are they not? Anyways, I can't seem to find any way to disable it. I've disabled the displaying of service icons on my buddy list, and every where else really, but I can find no settings for much of anything in the group chat window really.

How can I turn this off, and are there other settings I can use to manipulate the window?

Ok so I've done some more investigating and I'm still having some issues with this...

I realized I had hidden my toolbar and unhid it. Interestingly enough at the front of the toolbar, there is literally an option that says "Icon". Selecting this button presents me with an icon. It does nothing else... actually. I'm not sure at all what this button does but it seems to reason to me that it may have something to do with the very situation I am discussing.

The extra icons are annoying me!!!!!

It's unrelated and you can customise the toolbar.

As for the service icon in the group chat's user list: you cannot remove it. What you can do is hide the user list entirely or use a different icon.

This seems a little weird. Why is this the case?

I mean, is there a reason why someone would even need to identify the service icon in a group chat in the first place? The group chat functionality can't be cross-service, so it stands to reason that everyone would be a part of the same service within the same group chat.

In addition to that, you can remove the service icon from everything else, why now choose to force the service icon?

I'm a little confused The icon is like, obscene... it makes the list larger, it doesn't seem to obey the "use small icons" setting either. So, I'm a little confused, because this doesn't seem like Adium anymore...

So, is there any place perhaps through xtra type modifications that I could remove the service icon? Perhaps I could just delete the service icons all together and make them all blank 1x1 pixel images?
