I suspect this is possible - but I cannot figure it out.

It is in .8, but it's been so long since I used Adium .7 that I can't remember if it is then. Either way, you will be happy to know it exists in .8 :) (Which is currently in the Release Candidate stage - beta.adiumx.com )
