webcam support adium

with this new project:

it just might be possible to get webcam support for msn running in AdiumX.

Does anyone have experiences with this project or does anyone know if someone in the adiumx community has started implementing this project (or if even there's interest in doing this).

I don't have a mac os x working webcam but I guess I would buy one if adiumx supported it

It's a common request, and we'll attempt to implement it once we feel it's adequately supported by the underlying IM code that we use. This isn't likely to be for a while.

yeah, I've red that, ofcourse. I know there'll be a lot of users asking for this feature.

I'm not really asking for the feature, but actually pointing at a specific project, asking if anyone has looked into it (I mean, adium is open-source if I'm not mistaken, so chances are someone starts hacking both projects together).

Ofcourse, in the long end, I want wat all those other people want to, webcam support

By the way, what underlying IM code do you use (just out of interest)? I seam to be able to find a lot of game stuff in adium.app.

Heh, well, libmimic is used by Farsight (farsight.sf.net) which is used by gaim-vv (gaim-vv.sf.net) which will be used by gaim (gaim.sf.net) which is used in Adium (adium.sf.net).

How's that for code-sharing?

I thought gaim-vv was only a plugin for gaim like OTR or gaim-e or gaim-encryption. Guess not.
