custom idle?

I totally loved the option for custom idle times, or even the ability to set myself as idle at any point in time.. yet upgrading to the .8 beta I can't see this option anywhere. Am I blind, or is this feature no longer available? And if it isn't available.. is there a reason? That seems like a fairly common feature...

You can go to custom available status, and click "Appear Idle Immediately"

This is not the same as custom idle was (not in practice anyway), but if you set that as your custom available status with no text, it serves the same purpose.

Edit: After fiddling with it a little bit more, you can go and set your desired custom idle time and save it into your status menu, and then it will always be in the menu...This makes it even easier than before after you do it for the first time.

Thanks... but after playing around with it some more, I think I'm just going to go back to version .77... the only reason I downloaded this one was to get my ichat sounds back, but I can't handle how different everything is.. I admit I get set in my ways, but... I don't like this version AT ALL.

sarae - give it a couple of days. Adium 0.8 has a ton of new features, and it took me a while to get used to the new way of doing things - but I wouldn't go back now if I was paid

People said the same thing about Adium 1.6, and now Adium X has a bazillion more users than Adium 1.6 ever did.
