0.8 Logs not in HTML?

About 3/4 of my logs (after upgrading from 0.77) in log viewer are in plain HTML code, not what the HTML would display. i.e.:

<div class="send"><span class="timestamp">4:00:25</span> <span class="sender">blablabl@hotmail.com: </span><pre class="message">hello some text</pre></div>

All in that format. Is it just because there logs are older so are incompatible? Or was there some sort of quirk when I upgraded?

Two other small things I wanted to mention, I think you should be able to delete a contact entirely from Log Viewer, not just their logs. Also the disable consectutive message thing should be put back as a prefs option rather than something for the message style creator to decide.

Other than that, 0.8 is looking very nice. Great works devs.

No.

Oh well, don't understand the reasoning behind it and I'm not going to further challenge it since it's a relatively simple hack of the message style if you want it.

Basically the reasoning is that some message styles look good with combined messages on (or off), while others look horrible with them on (or off). So the devs think that it's better that the style should determine what setting to use, rather than having a universal setting in the prefs for something that, they feel, should vary with the message style.

While I agree with that, there are still a fair few options you can control over the message view, i.e turning on/off user icons or the use of a background image. Would have thought the same of an option in the message style prefs to turn on/off consecutive messages - if turning it off broke the style, then simply turn in back on.

Meh, doesn't matter all that much, like I said before it's a relatively simple hack. The main point was that most of my logs aren't showing in HTML for some reason :)
