huge annoyance

ok, so i have the new version, and when i IM someone, my sn doesnt appear...it appears as the name i registered my mac in (well i didnt register it, just typed in a few letters) and i wanna get rid of this so i can see my screen name when i send IMs.

for example,

buddy1: hi
asd sdhs: hey

where "asd sdhs" is in place of my screen name. any help would be great

Adium -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Edit -> Personal...Then delete your alias.

That should do it.
