AIM File Transfer- Unable to Receive, but can send.

Hello. This is my first post. I have been an Adium user on and off for the past few years, and now that Adium is really growing up, I find myself using it more and more often.

One glaring bug... I CAN Send files to other AIM users just fine... However.... if someone tries to send ME something, I click accept, and nothing happens... THEIR computer continues to say 'Waiting for recipient to accept...." and my Adium says "Accepted file transfer..." and "Waiting to start".... but the barber poles just keep spinning, and there seems to be no file transfer going on.

Running Mac OS X 10.3.8, and the latest Adium .80 ... but I think I've had this problem in version .70, too.... I just thought it would have been fixed by now.

Any way I can help? I am a complete Mac geek, but not a programmer.

EDIT: Also, if I let it, the poles just keep spinning and spinning, forever. There is no "time out" error or anything.

recommendation: If you're behind a router or firewall, open and forward the ports 5190-5200. It'll usually help :)

I have this problem and I'm not using NAT, and there is no firewall. All of the people who try to send me files are using gaim, some are on the same network, and some are one hop away.

Suggestions?
