status icons

i really hate the icon for if somone is on a cellfone how can i change it? like what do i open the status icon file with to edit it?

Go to Applications, Adium, then ctrl+click, then go to show package contents.

Then resources, then status icons, then ctrl+click again on the set you want to change, show package contents. Then open Mobile in something like photoshop, change it to whatever you want, and save it back into the package.

Be careful though, I'd backup the default file first, because you can always revert back if something bad happens.

use show package contents on adium, then open resources and look for a file called status icons, then show package contents on gems.adiumstatusicons then change both tab-mobile and mobile

i did that and now it only has the icon i used on the tab but on the buddy list next to there name it still has the default one, any ideas?

There are two files...mobile.png and tab-mobile.png

sounds like you edited the tab-mobile.png. Make a copy of the file, rename it mobile.png, and drop it in there and it should clear it up.

Again, I'd suggest backing up the old one just in case.

yay its working now thanks everyone now i just need to find a good mobile icon the one i had i thought would look good but its ugly 2
