When I update to 0.80 version
how come when i change my personal photo...
other users can't see my new image ??
I have restar Adium but it's same....
anyone can help me ???

I'm having a similar problem... Every time I quit Adium, my buddy icon is not viewable to others until I go in and change it somehow. So, in order to always have my icon viewable, each time I launch Adium I have to slightly make it smaller or larger. Is this a common bug? Is there a workaround?

What version of Mac OS X are you using?

Another question - What protocol is this over (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ...?) ?

My system OS 10.3.8
and i used MSN only

PC user can see my new photo but mac user can't ??

Same here: 10.3.9, MSN. Adium 0.80

It also doesn't update my screen name every 30 secs like it used to.

My problem's w/ AIM, 10.3.9, Adium 0.80... I have to reset my buddy icon every time I open Adium so others can see it.

I was having a similar problem with my AIM buddy icon on Tiger and Adium .7x (the latest one, I forget which is was, .77?). My user picture was set to a gingerbread man by Apple, and I'd forgotten to change it before I logged onto Adium, so people started seeing that as my buddy icon. When I changed my user picture (and buddy icon in Adium to match), it wouldn't update for anyone. Restarting Adium and changing the picture to other icons and back made no difference. However, upgrading to .80 seems to have corrected it—people now see the correct icon—so not sure what went on there exactly.

i'm having the same problem.
i'm on 10.3.7 with adium .8
my picture wont change at all,
it says in the preferences its changed but it's not showing up.

Any news about this bug? Has it been solved yet?
