OK, I have a question. I just got the update to 0.80, and I want my old message style from 0.77, but I can't find the message style files anywhere...are they all integrated within the .app or are they stored in a folder somewhere? Keep in mind I am referring to an included style, not something I d/l'ed. I know that there is no way I will remember what it was called unless I see it...but the update does not have this style. Also, it isn't in the xtra's section. Is there a way to import it, or to find the old files from the old adium? I hate the new styles, I liked it the way it was.

Another thing, I hate how AIM and ICQ are intertwined, a lot of times I send people messages and it sends from the wrong service, then I have to explain who I am, why it fucked up, etc etc...how do I remedy this?

Is there any way to view the offline contacts in their own group in the contact list?

Are you aware that AIM and ICQ are the same protocol? It's no less confusing than having 2 AIM accounts and choosing which one to send from (which is my case). Usually, Adium remembers the last account I chose when I talked to a specific person, so I don't really have a problem with it anymore.

for a while, yes.
And iChat (mac accounts) also use AIM

AIM is trying to take over the wor(l)d

Is there a way to manually change which account you want to use for that person? Short of turning off AIM before sending any ICQ messages, that is. (Oddly enough I haven't had the reverse problem.) This seems to be a persistant problem with one or two buddies on my list while everyone else is doing just fine.

Thanks!

Well, do you mean within the same protocol? If so, then if you always use the same account to send to that person, then you can just remove them from the other account.

If you mean across different protocols (i.e. you both have an AIM and a Yahoo account), then you can get info on the buddy and drag their accounts on the drawer into the preferred order (i.e. if you want to send from AIM rather than Yahoo, then place it at the top).

Across protocol. But I'm not talking about merged contacts -- Adium is using my AIM account to send messages to my bud's ICQ account. (Yes, I have an ICQ of my own, so why isn't Adium using it? Good question!) Sadly she's not online right now so I can't run further tests.
