Which message styles? Have you tried all the built-in ones? Screenshot?
Also, I heard that if your language wasn't set to English you might get something like this.

I'm using just the built in ones at the moment...
They don't work...
I'm now using ver. 0.77 and the prob is still there...
Under Sys. Pref. > International my lang settings is just English...

Try moving/deleting Adium's .plist files in ~/Library/Preferences. Failing that, you could temporarily move ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0 elsewhere, that's where Adium stores almost all its information.

Adium is compatible with Tiger, I run it myself with no issues whatsoever.
Tried reinstalling Adium? A screenshot of your difficulties would be helpful here, as I mentioned earlier

Hmm, that looks a bit dodgy. Do you use Safari for browsing? How does Help Viewer cope with help documents?

Are we talking of Mac OS X 10.4.0 Tiger, right? The one that says build 8A428 in the About this Mac. Just to be sure.

It sounds like a webkit problem then - which is why I was asking you about Safari.

Does safari work for you?
Are you on the build eevyl asked you about?
Did this start occuring after you installed tiger?
Did you upgrade install or do a clean install of tiger?
