1. Make sure you have read and followed both Troubleshooting and Forum Rules.
2. Say what version of Adium you're using, and on which version of OS X.
You can find the version in the 'About' dialog in the "Adium" menu.
3. Post a recipe, if possible
Since there are a thousands of Adium users and only a handful developers, it's likely that the developers haven't encountered firsthand the bug that you've found. So poke around a little bit: If you can figure out how to trigger the bug, give us a recipe so that we can trigger it too.
