Downloaded sound sets not appearing!?

Hi everyone, hope this is the right place for my first post...

I just downloaded the latest version of Adium 0.80 and then some custom sound sets, yet even though I get a message saying they have been installed successfully I don't get them as options in the sound setup area. They just vanish!

Anyone have any ideas? I really want to get rid of this duck sound with some nice Simpsons voices lol

Yea... its weird... with this new version you have to manually set all your soundsets...
go to preferences->events-> and creat yourself a new preset named whatever you want and then go and change all the sign on and off stuff as well as the recieve message sounds to all the ones you've downloaded... The sounds are at least grouped together into the different soundsets that you've downloaded... it's just a pain in the ass that you have to manually set it. It gives you a lot more functionality and customizationable, but its annoying that you have to manually go in there and set all your presets... Maybe we will be seing an entire events Xtra's section soon that will allow you to download various presets... who knows.

I tried that but when I go to find my soundsets to select sounds, I just get one icon for the whole soundset and its greyed out

Maybe I am doing something wrong with the file I am dowloading?!

I'm also having the same problem, and have had to resort to creating my own pre-set. Which is irritating. I created a soundset for The Big Lebowski, I added the "AdiumSoundset" extension to the folder, I took a working .txt file and correctly renamed the events and all that.......I double-click the file, it says that it installs, but it doesn't show up! When I create a pre-set though, and change the sounds associated with each action, all the Big Lebowski sounds show up, and I can set it from there.

Is there no way that I can save this is a functioning soundset? I've love to share it with everybody on Adium Extras, but it was denied for not being a soundset. I can upload all the files and stuff somewhere if somebody wants to check them out?

Oh yeah, I'm running version .84
