Chat Bubbles Issue

First, THANX for the new features in v. 0.8. I use the Dashboard Like theme for my contact list and use the Chat Bubbles instead of the Gems. The only problem is that while all the normal bubbles have a dark outline and white center, the bubble for mobile users is all dark and disappears w/ my theme. Is it possible to add a white outline around it?

you can always edit it yourself:
show package contents on adium->resources->status icons->show package contents on the status icon pack you want-> edit mobile/mobile-tab

Well, incompetence strikes again. I found the file, edited it w/ Photoshop and it looks just like I want it (also looked at it in GraphicConverter). I quit Adium and restarted it to look at my new creation, but the white background I created does not show up in Adium ... it looks just like it did before my change. Sigh.

I know this is not a forum for instructing the less fortunate how to edit .png files, so I understand if this thread dies.

i don't like that mobile icon either.

they also changed the offline icon, which i don't like. it used to be the chat bubble with an 'x' inside it. now its a faded chat bubble. please fix this! i don't want to have to edit files every update of adium.

Does it matter that much? If it's a problem, extract the set, and make your own custom set to be installed. That won't be touched when Adium is updated. You'll have to change various .plists in the icon set to change its name so it doesn't clash with the inbuilt bubbles... but it's not hard if you have a look.
