Showing the status window when in background

Just got 0.80, and I love it! I managed to find the "Display Status Window when away" checkbox to re-enable this feature, just like I had it in .77.

Actually, not just like I had it. How can I make it so that the status window is not hidden when Adium is in the background?

If this has been posted elsewhere, I apologize. Thanks!
