Seems that in Adium 1.5.10.4 on Sierra (10.12.5) if the status text is longer than the contact list width, it gets "smushed" (technical term), basically looks like the kerning is being adjusted too low.

I'm seeing this also, using Adium on El Capitan, OS X 10.11.6. I'm clueless as to what change in recent updates of Adium might have caused this regression.

This has been driving me crazy as well (High Sierra 10.13.2)...it happens with usernames in the chat window and chat descriptions too... >:o Has anyone found a fix yet???
