so i posted back during .73 about how i had set every font setting i could find to garamond 12pt and that adium was still showing my text as helvetica even though it was making the other persons garamond. someone told me about a hack plist to add, which didn't help, but then about 2 days ago it suddenly started working perfectly?! i didn't change anything at all... i got .80 today and i love it, but i am back to having my text show as helvetica even though i have changed every setting (which there seem to be less of?) just wondering if i need to redo that hack or something?
You are going in to the font panel (command-T while in the message text field), and not the "Text Display" preference setting right? That affects only what you see, not what you type.
i have gone everywhere (including there, which doesnt change anything) and the text i type as well as how it shows up in the window are helvetica.. (what they send is garamond)
