Does anybody know which file I need to get rid of or change to get rid of the dotted lines in the minimal message view?

My bad-tempered first response is, go read a CSS tutorial.

But then I remember that I've been asking people for help recently..

Open up the style (I'm assuming you know where in Adium.app to find it), open "main.css" in a text editor. Delete:
from under the heading ".container" (5th one down). Delete all of this, but no more. Save it, you're done.

Thanks for the help. If I had realized it was a css thing, I would have gone there. I assumed it was just an image file I had to trash to get rid of it.
