I miss the default message style in 0.77 where I can see a large display picture of whom I'm talking to:

Whereas in Adium 0.80 the Top Bar will be fulfilled with so many little icons as in the pre-0.77

Is there anyway to set it back like in 0.77? How to do that?
I really miss it coz it looks much neater and I dont really need all those small buttons anyway. (I can go to menu bar if I need it)

That is just the header on the message style.

Pick that message style, looks like plastic, and click the option that says "Show Header"

As for the toobar, to hide it, click the little pill looking thing in the right top corner of the message window.

"Show header" doesnt make any difference
I tried to tick it off n on but it doesnt give any effect (I've tried to open a new window and even restart Adium)
oh ya, what is "show user icon" for?

Only those message views that have been created to have a header can show one. If one does not have the ability to show a header, then that option will be greyed out in your prefs.

but Proto Scroll Mod DOES HAVE the "Show Header" option!!
the problem is it doesnt appear

well I tried to re-install Protoscroll Mod and yes this time it runs with the header. however I cant click on the display picture and make it full size like in Plastic Mod..
but it's ok, I can show the 'little icons' bar and click on the picture for full size.
