The group chat bug I reported in previous version exists in .80.
Invitations to group chats are not received by my invitees (I select "join group chat", name it, drag in names from buddy list, and create an inviting messsage, but no one receives the invitation).
One improvement: I can be invited to group chats in this version. Just can't do the inviting.
I"m using Adium with 10.3.8 via AIM.
Group Chat Still Broken
Group Chats Have a VERY Low Character Max
Ok, .81 seems to work right. Thanks!
But there's a VERY low maximum character limit when speaking to group chats. I can't even paste in an average length URL without going over limit. Is this an AIM limit or an Adium limit?
"Could not send the last message because it was too large"

There's no chance of successfully lobbying anyone at AOL to increase that limit, is there?
I was hoping to use chat to coordinate moderation of my web forum. But the limit is so short that you can't even paste in a medium-lengthy URL. And if you can't point moderators to problem URL's, then this can't be a moderating tool.
We could use IRC, but none of these people have clients, and they keep their Adium/Trillian/ichat/AIM clients up and running all day.....
