one of my friends, who use adium (v0.8), are encountering the strangest problem i have ever seen. they can't change their font for any message style. even odder, they never picked to use the font in the first place. on top of that, its a very horrible font that she can't stand (some hand writing font). i had them trash their prefs and restart adium, but the problem remained. oddly, even after trashing the prefs, her buddy window, msg style and everything remained the same.
whats going on?
edit:
i had her msg me (we are in the same house right now) and her font isn't what it shows her having. when i get a msg from her, its a normal font, but in italics. she sees it as some hand writing font though.
i'm confused about this, so she is going to try trashing everything and redownloading adium.
