Okay, here's how it is. I downloaded .80 yesterday. Dragged the duck thing to the applications folder like I've done with every other update adium has had. Replaced the older version with .80, and opened it. Nothing happens. My computer begins to slow down: ITunes, anything I'm trying to type at the moment, even my desktop images don't change for a while. So I think, "Okay, well, I'll give it a few minutes." Come back twenty minutes later, and nothing. so I Force Quit, delete it, and get the older one back. Everything works just peachy. Tried to get .80 again today, exact same thing. What's going on

try and open it again, if the same thing happens, while its doing that, go in to activity monitor, select adium and get a sample, dont paste it in here, but if you have somewhere you can post teh file, that would be great.

I don't know that my computer has an activity monitor. Where would it be?

In the Utilities folder, which is in the Applications Folder.
