the peoples names in my buddy list are not alphabetized correctly and some of the idle buddies are mixed with the away buddies. please help. any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

I suspect you simply have your settings messed up. Look around in the View menu, and if it still doesn't work when you're sure it's set up correctly, come back

im sure its setup correctly...in ichat its its setup perfectly...i remember before that i found a post somewhere (not on this forum) saying to delete a certain folder and the problem was fixed (this was when i had the older version of adium of course)...but now since i upgraded to tiger, and did a full clean install, i dont know what folder to delete again... any suggestions?

Have you selected "configure status sort..." in the view menu to make sure you're sorting away and idle separately?
