Non-hiding Status Window?

I swear I saw this talked about earlier, but I am having no luck with searches...
In old versions of Adium, the Status window was always visible, even if Adium was not the active app. Now, it hides... I really miss the old behavior
Is there setting I've missed, a .plist hack I can do, anything?

Something else you guys might be able to help me with...
The message window does not want to remember where I put it. What's the trick? Right now it shows up at a random place in the middle of the screen. If I drag it to where I want and close it, it doesn't remember. If I start a conversation with someone, then drag it where I want it, it doesn't remember. Any ideas?
Doing a little more "investigation", it seems as though Adium tries to tile my chat windows, thus screwing up where I want the window to stay. Can we stop fucking up things that worked in earlier releases? Please?

Both of these issues are mentioned in topics on the front page of this forum. On the second one, I suggest filing a trac ticket after reading the guidelines linked to from the bugs forum.
<edit> Actually, the first issue is mentioned in another topic that you made. Please don't spam the forums </edit>

Next time, search the forums before you make another thread about the same issues being rehashed for the 2 bajillionth time.
ALSO!
No cursing, acting like a jerk, being a jerk, or jerkisms will be appreciated or allowed from now on. This includes telling us we "fucked up" something.
