I just upgraded to .8. The version history says that it supports blocking and hidden mode, however:
the "Block" menu item is always grayed out
I can't find hidden mode anywhere. I have looked all over.
Also, where did event bezel go?
EDIT: Just after I posted this I found invisible mode. The other things, however, are still puzzling me.
Blocking and Hidden Mode
please post your questions in the general topic. this place is for the documentation only.
There is an update to .8 version. You can download .8.1 from the official site now!
1) Maybe the protocol you use doesn't support blocking? Maybe you're offline?
For me this does work: I click the contact, then rightclick the contact, then I can choose "Block" on contacts of MSN and Yahoo.
2) The hidden mode can be set while setting a new Away state. I know this is weird but this seems to be a specific choice of the devs.
3) The bezel event changed into growl notifications.
You should have gotten the question to install Growl with Adium.
If you didn't: make an event with "show growl event" as only action (for example when acontact comes online).
Wait untill a contact comes online and Adium should ask you to install it again.
If it doesn't, then install growl from http://www.growl.info
More information on Growl (why growl and not bezels, and so on) can be found searching the forums.
