Clicking Growl Notifications Open IMs - I Don't Like It
In previous versions of adium, when i clicked a growl notification (i use bubbles), it just made the notification dissapear. In .8, when you click it, it opens an IM. I can see how this would be convieniet, but I hate it! Is there any way to make it so that the bubbles will just dissapear when I click them like in older versions?
I agree that it'd be nice to have some way to just make them disappear by clicking on them or something. If I'm looking at something in that corner of the screen, and someone IMs me and the Growl box comes up, I just have to sit around and wait for it to disappear after a couple seconds.

try switching growl to stickies, but if you do that they will only go away when you click themrockthisinternet wrote:In previous versions of adium, when i clicked a growl notification (i use bubbles), it just made the notification dissapear. Click it! You know you want to

@wengero: even if you set them sticky they still open the IM windows.
here would be my idea for sensible behavior, though:
for initial message received and new message received in BG: click brings forward appropriate message window.
for contact comes online, contact is available, contact is unidle: open a message window (maybe)
for contact goes away, contact goes idle(?): open info window for that contact
for contact goes offline: PLEASE do nothing
everything else: just activate adium and bring all windows forward
a little complex, but infinitely more useful i would say.
