Hey,
Love the new features of .8. Especially block. But i was perplexed to find that you cannot unblock a contact once you have blocked them. I mean having block as a feature made me soo happy, but occasionally i want to unblock people who's minor slights against me have been forgiven.

So when you Control-Click the blocked contact there isn't a contextual menu item saying "Unblock"?

I'm having this same problem. There's an "unblock" option in the menu but it doesn't work, the person stays permanently blocked no matter what I try.

What protocol are you using?

having the exact saem problem.. was using .80 and it wa fine.. then upgraded to .81.. and..... KAZAAM... no unblock

I also have the same problem. I was joking with a good friend of mine and blocked him and now he never sees me online. Please guys, although the latest adium version is great this problem is quite serious and I believe it has to be fixed soon. It's even more omportant than the MSN chat problems (that continue to exist). Thks

Actually there is a solution. You can go and unblock your contact through the msn messenger program. Then the contact will be unblocked when using adium. Adium is able to contact msn and block a contact but unable to do the opposite. So to unblock someone you have to do it through msn messenger.

yes i know it can be done using msn messnger... but its a teewee bit inconvenient 2 keep on switching between 2 IM services.... the only reaon i switched to adium is casue Msn messnger for mac sucked

Sorry, did you say there is a way to unblock contacts?
All i see when i go into the contact menu is block.
It doesn't change.
And Eudiam, as much as your suggestion is an answer to the problem, i am trying to do away with MSN Messenger for Mac entirely.

There is, but it appears to be broken for some people.
