Adium 0.8x, Eclipse message view, and aliases

Hi all, haven't posted in ridiculously long, so I should start off by saying as usual how much I appreciate all the developers' hard work and how every time I think that Adium can't get any better, y'all amaze me by setting new standards.

But to the issue at hand: since upgrading to 0.8, at least a couple aliases display kind of funky in Eclipse message view: the last letter jumps to the second line:

I've only seen this happen with two aliases, both ending in 'a' coincidentally, independent of length (one is four letters, the other 5 letters long, but longer names don't have this issue), and it doesn't happen when it's an Alias (auto-reply) message box (again, see attached image). Only a minor annoyance, but weird enough that I'm curious for an explanation (and hopefully a quick fix).

Thanks!

Same thing here.... only with alias, no problem when i use screen names or "alias (screen name)"

great message view style for a great app, btw.

GAZ, i've experienced the exact same thing. additionally, the "smoke" and "frost" variants of eclipse have _completely vanished_ despite the fact that the message view file hasn't been modified or updated at all. (i even tried removing it to the desktop, downloading a fresh copy, and using that. then i put back the old one, and still they're gone.)

personally i have no idea why 0.8 did these strange things, but perhaps a dev could enlighten us =)

I can answer at least the second question. As of 0.8, Eclipse is included as a built-in message style with Adium. The built-in message style, which can't include the 'hot' images because Adium does not have the rights to them, overrides the one installed in your ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adium\ 2.0/Message\ Styles/ directory.

You can add those variants back by adding Frost.css and Smoke.css from the downloaded message style to /Applications/Adium.app/Contents/Resources/Message\ Styles/Eclipse.AdiumMessageStyle/Contents/Resources/Variants/. Also add hot.jpg and hot2.jpg to /Applications/Adium.app/Contents/Resources/Message\ Styles/Eclipse.AdiumMessageStyle/Contents/Resources/images/, again using the ones from the downloaded message style.

Anyone have an idea about the wrapping of names?
