I dont know why, but Adium is no longer working here on my Tiger.
It was perfectly ok, and I didn't do anything at all that might 'damage' Adium 0.81
However, from this evening everytime I launched it it jsut stay there as offline and didnt do anything and "not responding" when I tried to Force quit.

I've tried to reinstall but it doesnt fix the issue.
Any solution?

so it is starting, you see the contactlist, but it isn't going Online you mean?

Is the application really blocked? you can check this by opening Adium, once you think it's blocked, you can control click the application in the dock. If the menu says "Application not responding" then it may be blocked (doesn't necesarrily have to be) if it doesn't, it means it's waiting for your actions.

Somewhere there's a first troubleshooting guide, but I don't know where it is anymore with the changes on the forum.
It involved removing your prefs, updating to last version, ...

I just wrote up these two documentation pages which should help you out:
http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/TroubleshootingTips
http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/Sampling

Thanks,
http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/TroubleshootingTips solves the issue, though it costs me to set up the whole xtras and preferences from ZERO again (including losing all my chat logs?)

but either way it works :D

I've clarified the documentation a bit (and tossed in more info) and added a page on logs:

http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/TroubleshootingTips
http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/AddOns
http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/Logs

Let me know if things still aren't clear.
