Why can't I receive files from people?
Why is it that I can send and receive files perfectly using the official AOL, MSN and Yahoo clients, and iChat, but have never been able to consistently receive files using Adium or Proteus? Sending is usually not a problem in Adium, but was spotty with Proteus. In any even, I don't have any sort of special or unusual machine or network configuration; I'm just a normal user behind a NAT, and NOT using a firewall. Can someone please tell me how to get this to work??
