Everything on the same line

Post by dolver »

Hey,

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I didn't know what exactly to search for in the forums. Right now, my adium displays everything a user types on the same line as what they sent before, until the other person sends something and the line breaks.

Is there a preference to fix this -- because how someone formats a convo can be important -- thanks so much.

What message style are you using?

Jewel

"Show user icons"
"show received message fonts"
"show received message colors" (if any of that makes a difference)

Hmm, I'm not familiar with that one, and the Xtras site is down so I can't check on it. Do you still have the same problems if you try a different message style, or is it just that particular one?

Well, (for example) textonly works multi-line for me in 0.81 / Panther.

Well, it must be "Jewel" in conjunction with adium .8x because other styles work fine. Thanks so much for all the help

Many styles need to be updated to work properly in the .8 series, and aren't. If you would like to be, contact the style's author and ask nicely. :)
