I'm crashing about once an hour. It's always when the app is in the background. Mostly when I recieve a new IM. About 1 in 10 new IMs in the background crash things. Other times it'll crash when I click the icon to bring it into focus.

Setup:
10.4.1
Version 0.81

Yesterday wiped the App and reinstalled and erased ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2/* and ~/Library/preferences/*adium*

Still crashes.

AIM: tracyjsnell

I've sent in several crash reports.

All your crashes seem to be in webkit code.

What message view are you using?

Not sure what to tell you... have you been having an unusual amount of crashing in safari as well?

Adium's cache is at:
~/Library/Caches/Adium/

You could give emptying that a try as well.

I can't remember the last time safari crashed. Can't believe I forgot the cache! Blitzing that now.

Hey.. what about me? I crash a lot, too, when adium is just sitting in the background. (sent in numerous reports as well). Although I crash much rarer than Waz here (at least once every 24 hours), still, it's inconvinient..

AIM: SilverDemonX

The crashes seem to happen a lot less in b1-b2 (only 1 crash happened since b1 came out). Please, check it out.. Thanks.

One of your applescripts is/was causing crashes.

(The b2 crash was in libgaim file sending code :) )

Mine was crashing a lot as well and i got rid of ~/Library/Caches/Adium/ and it's more stable now, no crashes in the past 24 hours. The problem now is that i lost all my AIM, MSN & YAHOO buddy pics

Yes, well, when you delete the cache of buddy pics from AIM, MSN and Yahoo, that would generally be the case :)

A large number of your crashes are in webkit code as well (Speficially while executing the content appending javascript). Is your OS X up to date?

Yep

10.4.1. Software update shows I'm current. I did go the beta route through ADC.
