not sure if this is a bug, but i used to able to set my outgoing font by doing a Command-T in a message window and setting my font, but now whenever i do it, it automatically resets itself to Helvetica, and people tell me that they see Times on the other end.

any ideas?

It's probably the message style's font…

We had trouble with this too! Smooth Operator displays Helvetica even if my font is Times New Roman!

If this is the same bug I've encountered, this has nothing to do with the message style.

I tried getting some attention to this bug on the old forums. I asked the devs for advice if there was anything I could do to track it down. I even posted several movies of it in action, but it got no love. :?

If it's the same problem i had you'll need to change the formatting .plist manually (~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/Formatting.plist) for me cmd+t only changes the font temporarily for the current chat.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I cannot find Formatting.plist anywhere.. Was it removed in the newest version? If so, where is the new file? If not, where is my old file? :)

It's there! (Or it's there in my 0.8SVN)

I'm having the same problem.. my Custom Formatting.plist has no entries whatsoever. I tried #adium to no avail.. any fix yet?
