Webdings and Wingdings Help!

Hey,
I can't use Webdings or Wingdings in Adium for some reason (IMs, profiles, etc). I think it isn't the program itself, but I don't know how to get them to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

These fonts in profiles caused crashes before, at least when displayed. Try setting them in your profile, and checking from a different account on the official client to see if they display in webdings/wingdings or not.

Nope, I tried it, and checked on AIM. It is in a normal font (Lucia Grande perhaps?) Normal letter, no symbol...

Perhaps the crash extended to have it in your profile period. Who knows. I'm not a dev

It's a problem with OS X itself, for some reason some fonts don't work. Try using those fonts in some other cocoa app (like TextEdit) it won't let you. Not sure if this has been fixed in 10.4 as i don't have it...

As far as i know, there's nothing that can be done until Apple fixes it
