I was making a new dock icon (theBell, see below) and I was wondering what kind of status dock icon supports. I mean: in the "iconpack.plist" i can use the string Alert, Away, Base, Connecting, Idle, Online, Preview: there are other status supported, such as busy or invisible? What about a wiky for xtra devs (er, i know you're quite busy, maybe in the future)?
I hope I was clear... sorry for my english.

Anyway, there's a preview of the dock icon:



It's still under development (I haven't created a "connecting" animation or a "offline" icon, any suggestion will be appreciated ) but if you want you can download it: theBell Dock Icon v0.1.

Nice. Very. But unfortunatly the only status you haven't got so far is "Idle & Away", there is no support for invisible or busy etc, although it would be nice if this could come in the future...

I had requested this once, before the trac time, so it got lost.
I filed a trac request for this now:

My hope was the status "busy" were already implemented, in fact if you open the icon's package you will see the busy icon... well, doesn't matter. I hope dev will improve this feature.

Unfortunately I don't think having extremely personalizable "dockable" status will be positive, because they are too variable.
I think it would be better if the support will be extended only at preset status such as invisible, busy, brb, on the phone or whatever the service supports. It would be cool.
