couldn find an answer to that in the forums:
while growl 0.7 with german localisation will not work on my 10.3.9 os the beta version does. solved this thanks to the forums here.

but - adium is registered with growl, but won´t show growl messages.
i found that i should activate the growl plugin, but there is no growl plugin in my installation (probably because i didn´t install growl with adium, but after aduim?)
can anybody help?

The Growl plugin is from the .7x release of Adium, many months ago.

You do not need to have a Growl plugin for Growl to work with Adium.
