So my wife and i share a common contact who has an aol mobile device. When he is on it, her list shows the little icon that looks like the airport icon in the menu bar and says that he is on a mobile device. Mine just shows that he is away. My quesion is how do i get this icon to show up on my list?

Are you sure you're using the latest version of Adium? Support for identifying mobile contacts was new in Adium 0.80.

got it thanks, just had to change some settings....
