Plastic Look

Post by andrewheard »

Sorry if this has been covered before. When I installed the new version of Adium, it has the hideous plastic look found in Tiger. Is there any way to revert back to the old look? I looked through every preference tab and found nothing.

Thanks for your time,

Andrew

You can edit the .nib files if you have the Developer Tools installed to not be unified (the correct term for it the "ugly" look you are describing). Otherwise you are out of luck. Most people are quite in favour of the Unified look around here, and an option for it is ridiculously unnecessary.

Ok, thanks for replying. I actually tried metal adium which I find looks very nice. I probably just dislike the new unified look because I am not used to it.

Thanks again for your time,

The only way you'll get used to it is by using it.
