I have two "orphans" that keep coming back, no matter how many times I delete them from all my accounts. How can I fix this?

Pesky "orphans" contact list

The inability of Adium to permanently delete the wretched pesky pointless "Orphans" contact list is the topic of tickets #837 and #1956. Is anybody working on those, or does nobody care. It's bloody annoying to have to delete it every time Adium starts up.

It's bloody annoying to accuse volunteer developers of not caring about your pet issues. There are thousands of tickets and < 20 developers. Don't like it? Download the source and contribute a patch to fix them.

Didn't accuse, only asked. Got my answer. "When you care enough to flame the very best." <heh!> Tnx, -s

meh, true. I'm a bit of an a$$. I just don't like the phrase "nobody care" because of it's nature.
A more cuddly version:
"Of course the developers care. They've not had time to get to it yet. If you can provide additional information that makes it easier to debug and fix it is more likely to be taken care of sooner. Thank you for your interest & support!"
Better?

NP; I don't require cuddly. But I will have a look at the code, just for grins. Tnx agn. -s

I keep Psi around for just these times. If you have some contact that won't go away, or the authentication doesn't work, fire up Psi, fix the troublesome issue, quit Psi and fire up Adium again.
I'm sure the devs will get to all the issues in due time, so it's not that big a deal to look at ugly ol' Psi once in a while. :-)
