buddies' status message in message window

Post by MacDong »

when i am chatting with a buddy, his/her status message would appear after his/her alias in the message window.
but now the status message has disappeared.
i still see my own status message being displayed, but not my buddy's.
can anyone tell me how to get it back?
thanks.

Does this happen with built-in message styles?

Some message-styles were not converted for proper use with .8 and have bugs, such as this one.

Wait, are you asking about a status message next to their user name? If so, that never existed as a feature within Adium, and shouldn't be there. Certain message styles, however, might employ something like this.

Or are you talking about the status changes and status messages that occured between messages? If so, they should be there, and if they aren't, I would file a bug, but first searching to see if it already is known: http://trac.adium.com/wiki/ReportingBugs

You would have to talk to someone who knows about message views better than I. And this is the point in the thread in which they chime in! *waits*
