I'm still crashing enough that adium is now not usuable. Sent in 3 crash reports today. Desperate for suggestions since all non adium clients suck.

What message style are you using? You appear to be crashing in WebKit code.

Webkit

I know it's been crashing in my "webkit" but that doesn't help me. No other applications crash and I have no idea how I would fix my "webkit"

I'm using Mockie, Brown - Icon Left. I'll try a different one.

Hm, haven't heard of any problems with that style. What version of OS X? What version of Safari? Do you use Safari? Do you have problems with it?

10.4.2 - Started using the dev betas in hopes of getting around this crash. Same behavior.

Safari is 2.0 (412.2) - Use it constantly and it's been days or weeks since it crashed.

Tried all but creating a new account. It sometimes takes a several of hours sometimes to crash. I don't have time to muck with a new user account to check.

I took keep on getting crashes daily and I send in my reports. I have no idea what is causing my crashes. I use Safari, and Firefox, no special plugin in for Audium but I still get crashes any help would be appriciated.

i have a dual g5 running 10.4.2 and a 17 inch powerbook (g4, obviously).. everything is the same between the two machines.. except for one thing: i can't run adium on the g5 for whatever reason it crashes 5 times a day.

same prefs/version/etc. the g4 is fine the g5 crashes the hell out of it.. weird right?

Not weird at all. What email/handle have you submitted crash reports under for the G5?

I have exactly the same situation. G5 (2x2.3) Desktop running 10.4.2 -Adium crashes repeatedly, often when I'm not even using Adium.

G4 (1.33) Laptop running 10.3.9 Adium has never crashed (although it gets less use, because it's only running during meetings).

All crash reports submitted under AIM screenname camrycurbhopper.

Oh, and I was running "Mockie, Brown - Icon Left". on both, I've switched to "Minimal, Red vs Blue" ... No crashes so far.
