Just recently I had a system crash of some kind and had to reinstall everything. Lots of fun. :roll: After I got AdiumX installed I went over to the extras to get myself a set of MSN emotions. Now, maybe I'm just not remembering correctly but wasn't there a MSN 7 Emotion set at one time? I'm pretty sure when I first found Adium, I DLed that to use. But now I don't see it anymore and all the other MSN sets don't understand to make smiles with things like " :P " or " :S " Would anyone be able to help me? Thank you for your time.

I went up and down the Emotions part of the sit a few times already though. The closest thing I could find was AdiuMSN. Which is completely like the set I'm looking for, but this one is remade. That would normally be ok but most of the smiles are not as good as the default MSN ones. You also still cant do simple simple smiles with the :P :S :D like I was able to before.

It's a large MSN-ish customised Adium with the Emoticons included.

Sure enough, this guy has the Emotion set I was looking for. I'm not sure why, but I guess this one was taken down from the Extras site when that remade set was made. Thank you you for our help though.

not hard to find 2 complete sets, i just went to emoticons and sorted by downloads(cause EVERYONE loves msn)

For the couple of emoticons you were looking for, i had to make it myself.
I was disssatisfied with the sets available so i edited the sets myself. Most of the emoticons are from the original author, but the missing ones i made.

I'm sorry about this but I'm not sure I follow what your saying. Which emotions are you talking exactly?

Yeah. I originally had those already though. I don't mean this in any offense or anything but I might be a newb in this forum, but I'm not with the internet. :) So I always try and make sure to do all the appropriate searches before I ask for help. Its just easier on everyone. The thing about these two sets is that one just has only animated smiles and the other is a remake. I was needing the original MSN Emotion set like I had before my system crash, but oddly enough its not on the site anymore.

Well, I don't know what's weird about your setup - but I carefully made that set to work with short emoticons, and in upper or lower case. I just downloaded them and had a look, they work fine

Hmm, that's weird stuff then. Because yeah, even when my friends would use those smiles I would only see :S :P ect. So yeah, who knows, maybe it is something with my setup.

Does anyone know why my 'thumbs up' and 'thumbs down' emoticons would have disapeared? I have tried reinstalling the emoticon pack and even some other ones but always those two emoticons are missng in the dropdown (the names are still there).

Perhaps you've moved to a case-sensitive file system and there's a mismatch?

I'm not aware of doing so, when would this happen? Is there a way I can check/fix it?
