I read the thread in the forum (which is now closed) about this issue, downloaded 0.82 again today, but I still have the same problem:

Everytime the computer sleeps, Adium disconnects and does not reconnect. I never had this problem with any of the previous releases, just 0.82. If there is something else I need to download, please tell me where to find it. (G5 comp, 10.3.9).

I reopened ticket #597, sorry if this was not the correct thing to do.

It was not the right thing to do. It has been fixed for a future release of Adium.
