Meta Contacts/Groups Bug

Hi folks!
I found that when I create a Meta contact and have the "Show Groups" option unchecked, that everything works fine. But as soon as I enable Show Groups, that Meta contact disappears entirely. If I disable Show Groups then it returns to normal.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I suggest a solution if it is a bug. When a Meta contact is created, have Adium move that contact to a Default group called "Meta".
Cheers!

Will do.
Sorry for not posting it there first. I figured I'd get a consensus just in case it was user error.

Good practice when you're not sure

I know you're all busy and all, but what kind of timeframe is it to fix something like this? I love Groups, but I also love Meta contacts.
Hate to ask developers these kinda questions.
Thanx!

Whenever it is fixed. This is open source software, and no one is paid to do Adium.

That said, someone with a better understanding than me of how serious this is and how much effort it'll take to fix it should assign it a milestone so it doesn't get lost.

Thanx Catfish_Man. I hope someone can assign a milestone to it. I want Groups enabled so bad.
jstamos: thanx for the obvious and most welcoming information. I'm so honoured to be posting questions in _your_ forum.

Why, my mom, you are quite welcome to be graced by the words of me.
Locked, further discussion to the trac ticket, where it belongs.
