Making Status go "Available" when no longer idle

Surely this must come up all the time but I can't find it in the FAQs, support forum, or docs.

When I set iChat to "Away," as soon as I return and use the mouse, iChat asks me if I want to make myself "Available."

I cannot find a similar feature in Adium. (Adium X, 0.82, on Mac with OS X Panther)

Advice, please?

There is no way to do this with an away message you set, however, in the Status section of the preferences, you can set a saved status to appear after a certain amount of time. On return, the message will come down automatically.

Why not create a script that sets you as away, by a compad like /away with a diaglog box 'are you still away?' click ok - no longer away, Viloa!

I might try that if i could figure out how to do it in applesript

OK, how about this.

Create a script that does the following:

Check to see if you're away. If not, the script terminates.
If you are away bring up a dialogue box that asks if you want to return from away.
If yes, take off the away and terminate. If no, terminate.

Have yourself on your own buddy list, get info on your contact, go to Events, and have this script run when you return from idle.

Adium's customizability is endless :)
