Message text small and blue, can't change...

Post by mhorydyn »

I managed to get the message text for things I say to stay at the size I want, but text from other people is always small and blue. Any idea how to change it?

Sadly, that doesn't seem to work. Is there a more brute force way?

What message style? (Tül has blue incoming-text...)

If you look in the folder (right- or ctl- click on the .AdiumMessageStyle, and chose Show Package Contents, then in Contents, in Resources), there will be a main.css, and in Incoming and Outgoing there will be Content.html and Context.html... if you're familiar with HTML/CSS, it should be easy from there.

(If not, it shouldn't be very hard; in CSS, ".something" selects class="something" in the HTML... more detail here on message styles generally.)

The message style I use is eclipse. I'll try messing with the css/html and see if that works.

I’m not using .* anymore… #* is cooler :D
#* is for an id="*" thing

Why is it cooler? # / id is supposed to be for unique elements, which in Adium probably only appear in the header.
